Govt.of West Bengal , Health Department is going to undertake a large scale recruitment program in the health sector.Many Vacancies will open for the Youths of West Bengal. This is Great Opportunity for these people who are searching a job in Health Sector for Long Time . The number of blanks in various terms is quite noticeable. The government announced the start of this recruitment program after the Panchayat elections. However, this time it has been decided to give jobs after calculating the vacancies in various fields. Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee has given instructions in this regard. The health department acted according to that order.

Earlier it was known from the sources of health department that thousands of candidates will be appointed for various posts. These include doctors, nurses, health workers, technologists and other posts. According to sources, the state is thinking of appointing General Duty Officers for 1363 vacancies very soon. Medical Officers will be recruited through the State Health Recruitment Board. Besides, plans are underway to fill 4000 vacancies of GNM Nurse, 835 vacancies of Medical Technologist, 4435 Nurses, 75 Senior Lecturers and Readers and Assistant Professors of PG Hospital and Surgery Department in the state.

The government is thinking of creating more new vacancies to provide job opportunities to the job seekers of the state. According to health department sources, more than five thousand posts of community health officers will be appointed. They will be given employment on the basis of one year contract. They will get an allowance of 20,000 taka per month. All in all, the state government is going to take up the recruitment plan for huge vacancies. Special measures are being taken to ensure recruitment of numerous job aspirants.
